I tend to annoy some people with my passion for wanting to help & make a difference for the voiceless. But hey, if you don't rock the boat the ride will be so very dull.

Co-worker A just told us about a neighbor from her childhood who got angry with a cat and smashed it's face into a heated stove burner.
I said, I wonder what she would do to a child when [s]he pissed her off.
Co-worker B said that the two have nothing to do with each other.
I said, If someone is going to react violently in anger towards one defenseless being chances are really good that they will react violently in anger towards another defenseless being.
With attitude Co-worker B replied, absolutely not.
I gotta totally disagree with Co-worker B.

What/who changed my life and why
Well, first & foremost my relationship w/ Jesus Christ but also, Bringing my first kitty home made me relaize that animals are breathing - living beings and therefore should be allowed to live out their lives w/o fear of being slaughtered for humans & their sselfish desires.
